ABOUT ME (ANYA)
Hello! My name is Anya Beldon, and I’m an artist based in Virginia. I’m multi-disciplinary, but my primary medium is ceramics. My work typically explores color, patterns, and surface design.
I have a BFA in Craft and Material Studies from VCUArts, and I have been a ceramic studio technician at Blue Ridge Community College for two years. I adore the science of ceramics, and conduct a lot of independent research into glazes, underglazes, and general material science.
In addition to my personal studio practice and my material research, I also teach pottery at BRCC and the Staunton Clayground. I specialize in youth classes and surface design.
